The Equal Earth Wall Map is for schools, organizations, or anyone who needs a map showing countries and continents at their true sizes relative to each other. Africa appears 14 times larger than Greenland as it actually is. And wherever you live, the map has you covered. Download a choice of three versions centered on these regions: Africa/Europe, the Americas, and East Asia/Australia.
Other features include:
• It’s free. Download the map and print as many copies as you want.
• It’s big. The map measures 55” wide x 29” tall (1.4 x 0.74 meters). You can print it even larger thanks to the very high resolution.
• Just enough detail. The 2,600+ map labels provide geographic context without overwhelming you with too much information.
• Professional design. With pleasing colors, readable type, and clear visual hierarchies, this is a map that you will want to look at.
Put an unused key to work
Convert the caps lock key or any modifier key to the hyper key, all four modifiers combined: ⌃⌥⌘⇧
The hyper key acts as an additional modifier key that you can use in any app with keyboard shortcuts.
Or just remap caps lock to a more useful key.

TimeMachineEditor is a software for macOS that starts backups in Time Machine at particular times. You can choose an interval or create other types of scheduling (see the screenshots below).
This is useful if you don’t need to backup every hour and don’t want the performance penalty. For example you might be frequently creating or modifying files which would cause long-running backup operations throughout the day.
Why?
Wifi networks collect a reference to your computer (called MAC address) when you login. That way, when you try to login again, even with different credentials, they detect that it is the same device and do not allow you to continue using it.
How?
By renewing your device's MAC address, the wifi network will not identify your computer and therefore is tricked into thinking it's a new device. When you try to login again it won't trigger the error message and you're free to use it.

An Application for Inspecting macOS Installer Packages
Every macOS Installer Package Looks the Same
Consider a few macOS Installer packages:
4 packages that don't look any different
One contains a useful and well-designed product, which can't be easily installed using drag-and-drop.
One contains well-intentioned software that will nevertheless splatter pieces all over your startup disk.
One contains a vital component — like a scanner driver — but will also install a handful of annoying, unwanted applications that the driver vendor distributes in return for “promotional consideration.”
One contains malware that will infest your system and your network, and probably ruin your week.
Which one is which? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The answer in macOS has traditionally been “install it and find out!”
The built-in security features of macOS — such as Gatekeeper, package signing and most recently, notarization — might rule out malware ... if you're lucky. But there's still a huge gray area between that and a well-designed package.
